Terms

The rules for using Lift and Track. Last updated October 12, 2026.

What these terms cover

Lift (lifting.kora.science), Track (track.kora.science) and the kora.science website are run by Michael Mauro, referred to here as “I” or “Kora”. By creating an account or using Lift or Track you agree to these terms and to the Privacy page. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Island is software you download and run on your own PC. It has its own license and notices, not these terms.

Not medical advice

Lift and Track give general training and nutrition information. They are not medical advice, and the ready-made programs are general programs, not a prescription for you. Strength training carries a risk of injury. Talk to a doctor before you start if you have a medical condition, an injury, or any doubt about whether exercise is safe for you. Stop an exercise if it causes sharp or joint pain. You use the apps and follow any program at your own risk.

Who can use them

You must be at least 16 years old. One person per account. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password private, and for what happens under it. Tell me if you think someone else has gained access.

How to use them

Please do not misuse the service. That means no attacking or probing it, no scraping or automated signups, no sending spam or other people's email addresses through it, no attempts to reach other people's data, and no uploading anything you do not have the right to share or that is unlawful. Form-check videos should show you training.

Your content

Your training records, messages, videos and other content stay yours. You give me permission to store and show them as needed to run the service, for example to show your log to the coach you chose to join. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backups that expire on their own schedule, as the Privacy page describes.

Changes, and ending your account

I may change, pause or end any part of the service. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; it takes effect immediately. I may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put the service or other people at risk.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any program or estimate is right for you. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; the CSV export in Settings helps. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any injury or loss that results from training, and my total liability for anything arising from the service is limited to US $100. Nothing here limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

The date at the top shows when these terms last changed. If I make a material change I will post it here with a new date and, where I can, tell account holders in the app or by email. Using the service after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
